Airsoft Primer Part Two: Intro to Gear

Below I'll detail out briefly some solid starter weapons as well as a generalized list of tactical equipment.

Starter Weapon Choices as of January 2013 (NOTE: Subject to change)

Also note that these weapons are essentially ones I feel are ready to rumble after minor tweaks: tightbore barrel, new hop up bucking, and a relube/reshim. Some other unlisted brands are also close to these tiers of performance/value but might require new gears or other parts.

Base Layer

                -Proper Camouflage BDUs
                -Tan Undershirt

                -Gloves (optional though recommended)

                -Boot Socks

                -Boots (combat-ready boots, not simply hiking)

                -Kneepads (optional though recommended)

                -BDU Belt

                -Sling

MOLLE Vest

                -Appropriate Magazine Pouches

                -Hydration Storage

                -Extra Equipment Storage (for BBs, batteries, gas, etc.)

                -Holster for Sidearm (if applicable)

                -Combat Goggles (Revisions for non-glasses users, Arena Flakjaks for glasses users)

From Top to Bottom: Comms Gear (Headset), Goggles, Facemask (Balaclava like this is not recommended, though, go for mesh), BDU top (This is a cold weather tactical jacket - we won't need that for May), Tan Undershirt (Just pretend),  MOLLE vest, Hydration (Tube on the right), Mag Pouches, Weapon, Gloves, BDU Belt, Holster (on the right), BDU Pants, Kneepads, Combat Boots, Boot Socks (again, pretend).
